Dear students, when the world celebrated the world poetry day on 21/03/19, we thought of utilising this occasion in the best possible way. As we have come to the end of our journey, we are just a couple of weeks away from our dispersal, it is time when we acknowledge our togetherness. Keeping that thought in mind, we, the grade 6 team, are sharing a poem with you. Hope it clicks each of your senses and reminds you of all the fun we had together. Happy reciting!!!
It seems that the day began yesterday, Alas! The time has come to bid farewell and Goodbyes to say. The memory of your presence in the wing, is the most pleasant one Listening, scolding, counselling and laughing together at some decent pun. We learnt, we complained and we appreciated each other, It could not have been possible without you to move further. It was never, a one way knowledge sharing, It was you always, who helped us facilitate and become caring. You are as good as our trainers, even though for your friends you were just complainers. Coming to us and calling out all time - Ma’am, Ma’am, Ma’am… Blaming your peers, teachers and sometimes some superficial character in your scam. Chits and chats and ifs and buts and laughter and cry, How will we compensate your absence when time knows how to fly. We learnt from you to organise ourselves, May it be the classroom, the team or the shelves. Sharing the planet with you is the happiest universal fact, your respect, curiosity and enthusiasm left on us a great impact. How the world is working, we came to know through your inquiry, We had just compiled the knowledge in our diary, but irony is that it is at the verge of expiry. It was you, who made us who we are, your mischief made us learn how to safely drive the car. Where we are in place and time was made evident by you all, So we are thanking you at the curtain’s call. Culminating through the ways how ourselves: we express, We know we are blessed to reach the height of success. Sad we are, but happy at the same time As we know next year too education will be your objective prime. All the best for your future endeavours and for your learning so new, With new mentors and classes and old peers along few We wish you become an internationally minded person, With all learner profiles imbibed in you, and your each intention. -Puja Aggarwal I hope you all are enjoying the exhibition.
Let’s see the highlights for a great delineation. Orientation and video watching of X - PYP-EX was amazing, Right? What we all witnessed was a real helping sight. The next activity was filling up of the POI sheets, We recalled all past learnings and ruminate for which 1 our heartbeats. It was soon when we headed for the learning centres, We all enjoyed a lot. We saw some initiated actions and Designs For Change, And some reflection time, later we got. Enthusiastic we were, to fill in the graphic organizer, Soon we could exhibit, that we are reflective communicators. These provocations would help us to become thinkers, And courageous to choose our topic better. This is just the introduction as the show has begun with a boom, Glimpses of our journey will astonish you, to see all of us bloom!! We promise you that we will put up a great show, We are committed and confident and are all set to GLOW!! Thanks & Regards, Daksh Dhingra. PYP Exhibition, an event of difficult projects & efforts to make,
Too many activities and responsibilities to take. Giving your best and making others shocked, Locking your weaknesses and strengths to be unlocked. Trying hard for a better tomorrow, Take it seriously, for not experiencing sorrow. Expressing ideas in a creative way, Kicking failure faraway. Once the exhibition is done, have the freedom to take rest, But don’t forget, you still have to go on a MYP quest. Don’t be stressed, Just think you are god blessed and have always progressed. Be free always, And try to find helpful ways. Cooperation & Confidence is all what you need, If you want more information, just read & read. Complete your mission with your willing power, To reach the top of the education tower. EAST or WEST, Grade 6 will always do their BEST & will certainly shock the REST!
